Ricardo Martinez-Garcia

Young Investigator Group Leader, CASUS-HZDR.

I am a complex-systems researcher interested in understanding the causes and consequences of emergent patterns and collective behaviors in living systems. In particular, how heterogeneity and stochasticity at the individual scale lead to emergent order at higher levels of organization, and how this order influences system-level robustness, resilience, and stability.
